Tatooine Detailed and Threat of Peace #22 Released for Star Wars: TOR

Tatooine detailed in new update.
Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) posted another update today releasing information on the planet Tatooine. As you might recall, Tatooine is one of the more prominent planets in the Star Wars
franchise. It's where Luke Skywalker was raised and where Qui-Gon Jin discovered Anakin Skywalker, who later became Darth Vader.
In SWTOR, Tatooine serves as a lawless haven for smugglers and other shady characters. The planet was once home to a Czerka Corporation research facility that held a secret weapon now lost beneath the sands of the planet over time. Undoubtedly a place players will be seeing much later, but the Czerka Corporation abandoned the outpost and that usually means one thing in gamer talk, boss fight. Click here to read more and see new screenshots. Link
For centuries, Tatooine was of little interest to the rest of the galaxy until the Czerka Corporation showed up five hundred years ago, seeking to exploit the natural resources they believed were beneath Tatooine's surface. Czerka's efforts to mine Tatooine ended in failure, but the planet's hostile environment proved to be the perfect place for Czerka's Secret Weapons division. Able to operate with no restrictions, Czerka brought alien technologies and experiments too horrible or dangerous to be allowed on any other system in the galaxy. While the full scope of how far Czerka went with their research remains unknown, it's clear that suddenly, and without warning, Czerka completely pulled out of Tatooine, leaving their Secret Weapons complex to be swallowed by the sands.

Tiger Woods Linked to a Canadian

In what is perhaps the biggest bombshell yet in the Tiger Woods scandal, the golf superstar reportedly has had extensive dealings with a Canadian. The Canuck, a Dr. Anthony Galea, treated Woods after his knee surgery, claims the New York Times.
"If this is true, this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back," said PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem. "It's one thing to cheat on your wife and commit 'transgressions' and 'infidelities'. But palling around with a Canadian? It's just ... it's disappointing, to say the least. I hoped he would be more careful with his associations."
Woods has been closely linked to people from other countries before -- his caddie, Steve Williams is from New Zealand -- but that was seen as endearing because people from New Zealand have cool accents and an equally cool name: Kiwis. His wife, Elin, is Swedish, a respected country for its hot, blonde women. And the golfer's own mother, Kutilda, is from Thailand, which means "land of delicious food."
But a Canadian? Reactions have been quick and harsh.
"In light of this recent report, we are immediately ending all ties with Tiger Woods," said Nike spokesman Roger Tyrell. "Canadians do not have cool accents, other than purposely mispronouncing a few words, their women are unremarkable and their food is really no different than what we have here. I don't know what Tiger was thinking."
Woods has quickly gone into damage control mode, releasing a statement on his official website denying any use of steroids or performance-enhancing drugs. But that has only dug his hole even deeper.
"Notice he didn't deny hanging out with Canadians," said Finchem. "The worst thing we feared has come true."

ePeen History
The guild began in the Spring of 2003 in the massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) Star Wars Galaxies. Initially, ePeen began as two separate guilds on the Gorath server. Knight of Ghost and iMMoRtALs. Both guilds held a common love for the Player verses Player (PvP) aspect of the game and quickly found themselves allied together in numerous guild wars. After Star Wars Galaxies ran its course the guild merged into one team and set out on numerous internet endeavors.
The focus of ePeen has always been simple; a strict concentration of teamwork and unselfish game play. Over the past six years we have consistently been known as the top performers on every server we have competed on and will continue this standard of excellence well into the future. We recruit based off two factors, performance and potential. New additions to the team must be able to mesh with the team, not the other way around.
Below are links to some of the games we maintained a presence in and their subsequent accomplishments. If you are interested in joining the ePeen team please take the time to review our History as you may soon become a part of it.
Star Wars Galaxies is where it all started. Back in 2003 large numbers of Star Wars fans set
out on an adventure that would end in heart break a few years later. Originally there was
iMMoRtALs and KoG. Pre-CU iMMoRtALs was known as the dominant force in all aspects of the game.
PvE we had all server firsts including the construction of jetpacks, mando, and clearing the Corvette.
Our mall had all the top crafters in each profession, we owned a very large portion of the market and
really monopolized most crafting professions through our sheer amount of money made by key players.
PvP we were feared and respected by all. Each component of the game went hand in hand for us and that
multi-dimensional plsy is why we were so dominant.
Some great SWG PvE accomplishments
Corellian Corvette - Server First
Crafted Jetpack - Server First
Auto attacking mobs in composite armor.
Pre-CU jedi duel - Sypher Syphadeous, Jedi Setinel

Some great SWG PvP battles
The always enjoyable Theed battles
Some great battles in Ice Bay when they came out of the cantina
Massive battle when we crashed a German RP event
Then the CU came along and the iMMoRtALs still shined but now they had a great friend in KoG. KoG was full of people that were ready to ride at anytime which gained a lot of respect by all, and they were a serious force to deal with. The friendship was really bonded in the server wide guild wars where the bulk of the fighting on the rebel side came from iMMoRtALs and KoG. Others were there but the victories and major battles were all fought by these 2 guilds.
Some great SWG PvP battles CU style
Well done like steak dinner
iMMoRtALs gearing up for the server wide war.
iMMoRtALs clone camping with no mercy to finish another war.
Then the NGE hit, iMMoRtALs was disgusted and left the game again, KoG remained and became the single most dominant force the NGE had seen. They carried their fury from the CU into the NGE and showed they were unstoppable force all on their own. They dominated Gorath for as long as they could stomach the NGE. As they wised up and left the game we all merged into one ultimate fighting force that has been playing together since the old SWG days. A history off alliance, friendship, and total domination continued into all the games we focused on.
Right after the heartbreak of the brutal NGE we had to move on to something new.
City of Villians was a great choice. A large group of former gorathians migrated to CoV
and we had a blast. The iMMoRtALs Crime Syndicate climbed up the guild rankings quickly.
After hitting a top 5 spot on the guild list, up with guilds that had been playing for
years when we were only there for a few months was a pretty powerful statement for things to come.
The PvP was hands down the most exciting fast paced in any game. Being able to fly, super jump, or super speed across maps made PvP a real challenge and was insane amounts of fun. The PvE side lacked more then any game we had ever played so all we had to do was PL new toons or PvP which got old.
Unfortunately the fabled content patch i7 never seemed to come along and we were bored out of our skulls and we wnet back to SWG for 1 day puked at the sight of the NGE so moved on to WoW. Any of us that played CoV don't regret it as we did have a blast but it was just too limited for long term solution.
World of Warcraft, as I am sure everyone knows is the largest blah freakin blah game blah
blah ever. Everyone always ends up playing WoW at some point. It's a love to hate kind of game. It's
always there, it's always the same, and unfortunately for the gaming world right now it is the most
complete MMO on the market. That's not because it's awesome... it's because everyone else pumps out
pompous garbage games to get a quick buck now.
Some Pre-BC action via Cyrk's OG
Nefarian - Horde First
C'Thun - Horde First
Patchwerk - Horde First
We had a presence in each version of the game. Back on Stormreaver, Cyrk lead Original Ganstas through all the pre BC content before we all got bored. Then in BC most of us joined OverRated on Korgath and cleared Illidan then got bored. Then in WOTLK we went back and cleared the ridiculously easy joke of content again to say a final goodbye to a game that just keeps getting worse with time. Talking about accomplishments in WoW is pointless considering how easy and over rated the game is. Killing the same bosses over and over and over again every week. Then in wrath doing the content you did the first time not once but twice per week over and over!!Point is been there done that, it sucked and it's terrible, the end.
Some BC clearing Screens via Psypher
This was one of the most anticipated games since SWG. After playing beta we all knew this was going to be
one of the most exciting games ever. PvP in the beta went up to lvl 20 and it was amazing, fun, and very
fast paced. It was a great change up from the slow time sync called WoW. We had a great time rolling with
one of the largest accumulations of oldschool players ever constructed. Dekel had his hands full massing a guild
the size of 3. We had iMMoRtALs, KoG, The Black Hand, and about 75 apps per week.
We instantly made an impact on Stormrage the day the servers were opened by dominating every zone with a showing of no mercy. We became a feared and hated force instantly. The guild hit server firsts for pretty much every tier 1 raid that actually worked at the time. We were rolling and having fun but the game was very limited in end game.
After a few months and no commitment from funcom to fix end game we had to move on. The game was fun but very broken. Maybe one day if they get thier shit together we might check it out again.
Some of the raiding accomplishments
Some of our PvP battles
Server First Tier 3 Keep

After AoC fell apart we moved on to Warhammer to see what all the hype was about. Cyrk assembled
the boys for another ride of the iMMoRtALs. At first things looked good, PvP was rockin, and everyone
was having fun. We had some nice battles in the open world for objectives and siege battles and our pre-made
BG group was clearing the BGs 500-0 and we made quite a name for the guild.
Unfortunately end game was a huge disappointment. PvP became all about the 2 classes that could 1 shot people, only 1 BG ever popped and the instances were easy, bugged, and boring. Not much else to say about this game, it was a huge waist of time.
Some massive PvP battles in the first couple weeks of launch.
Raid instances were a big disappointment but Barakus was a fun fight.
The Black Void/Death Company/ePeen dominated the game. Fluff is still there with his crew. They ganked Frodo took the ring and Fluff took it because he is so easily seduced by it's power.
If Seron tries to do anythig about it we will go bust his skull.
About ePeen
Although ePeen focuses on PvP we also knock out all the PvE content in the games we play. In essence we raid to PvP. Depending on the size and difficulty of content our raiding schedule will vary. We are a very active guild and tend to raid and PvP very hardcore. What this means is you get from it what you put in. We realize real life responsibilities call and it’s hard to play endless hours but those that are always there to heed the call of ePeen will likely benefit more in ways such as raid spots and in most cases loot as well.
We use a variance of loot council and DKP. When it comes to loot it goes where it will benefit the guild the most. Tanks and healers are the backbone of any successful guild and therefore they will always be given the first look for guild progression. DPS is a dime a dozen and is easily replaced. Good tanks and healers are not always easy to find and missing those key spots can cripple raids and turn them into wipe fests. If you have a problem with this loot system and really only want to join to get your hands on loot we suggest you close your browser and go play WoW. Our interest is server domination as a group, not making sure an individual gets a sword of I own face.
Recruiting Info
The ePeen Law **Know It - Live it - Love it**
These rules are in place to ensure that your experience with ePeen and with each-other is as fun and as organized as possible.
1. Ventrilo
* A working gaming headset and a copy of Ventrilo are MANDATORY for all ePeen members.
* All members are required to be on Ventrilo when in game. This will be strictly enforced and could lead to a guild removal. If you like to listen to music while gaming please hang out in the AFK channel so you could be easily drug into a channel if needed.
* There isn't a requirement to speak on Ventrilo but it is highly encouraged. Community is a big thing here so get to know your teammates.
* All raiding and PvP instructions will be issued via Ventrilo so the ability to hear and follow instructions in English is vital to successful operations
2. Recruitment
* All new recruits start in a no less than 3 week (21 days) trial period, during this period officers of the guild will decide if the recruit is of ePeen standard. This will be based on forum activity, communication via Ventrilo, conduct in game, and helpfulness to the Guild and Guildies, Guild contributions via the tax system in materials and gold and the all around ability of the recruit to fuction on the ePeen team.
3. Inactivity
* ePeen members who are simply unable to participate in the game for any reason will be moved to an inactive list until they are able to return to active involvement.
* They will be removed from the Guild if gone for more than 3 weeks without prior warning.
* Please make a post on the forums if you are going to be absent from the game for an extended period of time this will save you being inadvertently kicked from the guild.
4. Disruptive Behavior
* An excessive amount of complaining, non-constructive criticism, arguing within the Guild, etc., will result in removal from the ePeen. This does not mean that members can never complain, criticize or argue just don't be that guy. If someone says in Vent something like "damn dude, you complain alot" take that as a hint. You just turned into "that guy".
* The keyword here is "excessive" meaning that it reaches the point where it affects Guild cohesiveness or productivity. Any Guild member that engages in excessively disruptive behavior will receive a cautionary warning first, and if that behavior continues, they will be removed from ePeen.
* Drama is cancer. We will remove cancer with a quickness in ePeen.
5. Player Quality
* ePeen has a standard of quality play that we intend to maintain. If any Guild member is found to be extremely lacking in their skills, they may be voted on to be removed from the Guild. The important phrase here is "extremely lacking"
6. No Cliques
* We will not allow special cliques to form within the Guild. Everyone on the team should get to know all of the other ePeen members, and be equally helpful to all of them. For balanced grouping purposes, the Officers may have to adjust groups so that all guild members get a fair group when they play.
7. No Idiotic Public Posts
* If you want to act like a fool, we have private boards for you to do that. Do not make us look stupid on public forums. Remember, you are no only a reflection of yourself but also everyone in ePeen. You are an ambassador of the Guild.
8. Respect Your Guild Members
* You are required to treat other members of the Guild with respect. How you actually feel about them is not relevant, but your behavior is. Feel free to interact with anyone outside of the Guild however you like, as long as it doesn't violate any of the guild rules and doesn't look bad against the team.
9. Dedication
* You are a member of ePeen and therefore are not allowed to be a member of any other Guild or Organization on the server without prior permission from the officers. This rule also includes the distribution of information specific to Guild tactics or tips.
10. ePeen Forums
* All members are required to read ePeen Forums on a regular basis. The forums are the main conduit for information within the Guild and therefore not keeping up to date with the forums means that you are uninformed!
11. Taxes
* Members are required to pay weekly taxes in gold and materials. The amount will be published in future posts or in the in-game message of the day (MOTD). Contribution to the guild is important and will ensure success in our guild endeavors. A Guild treasurer will be identified and all contributions will be made through him/her.
12. Age restriction
* ePeen enforces an age restriction of 18 years and older.
